A teacher of the institute participated in a panel discussion at the launch of the report on the situation of press freedom in the Kurdistan Region

Ms Hazhan Khalid, a lecturer at the Kurdistan Technical Institute and a researcher at the Metro Center, presented a research to the audience and all media channels at the presentation of the report on the situation of press freedom in the Kurdistan Region.Ms Hazhan pointed out the situation of women journalists in the panel that the cultural obstacles and understanding of society in front of women to work in media institutions is high. She added that harassment is high in the media and the majority of women and girls employees and journalists in the media in the Kurdistan Region face violence as a major challenge, They call it in front of them.
